Puncture wound in the knee from a metal spike, didnt bleed?

i did it at work, went through pant leg and i know instantly i did something. i look at it and its a hole a little bigger than the eraser of a pencil. i put a band aid on it and at the end of the day it hardly bled at all, and it hasn't scabbed over. is that normal or should i be worried? Also it never really ever hurt that bad, just a little sore. thanks for any advice!

Is This Really True Love or Just A Dream That Feels So Real?

ok so i had this dream, a very real dream and im gonna get in to it so i wont have to type alot lol. But in the beggininng of my dream was so fun and crazy, but long story short, a friend of mine n a friend i just met were walking outside ver crowded n it lookes like it was about to rain and as we are walking i hear a boy call my name and obviously he knew me and after he calls my name i looked at him and he gives me this look like i love you and said hey and gave me a love hand shake lol and i said hey n walked away still lookin at him cuz i new him but i didnt remember his name but were walking and he follows us and we just sit down somewhere and we begin to talk again and i asked said no to be rude but was your name and he said connor. then i asked him you remember me from elementary school dont you and he said yea n i started smiling and he smiled back and said i remember you because your THE ONE and he goes on saying he loved me but not like a stalker that loves you, but then he said something so sweet n i said your so sweet n nice. Then my dream ended n i was mad cuz it felt so real.

Do you think cable news makes people dumber? Why or why not?

I tend to believe channels like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and the like are destroying any sense of civil, intelligent political discourse in this country. I mean I believe it's important that the American people have easy access to up to date information but I wonder if cable news is worth the trouble it wreaks. News these days is just generally irresponsible. My complaint isn't that the news is too biased. In fact, in most cases I would argue that it isn't biased enough. Or at least in the sense that journalists don't discriminate anymore. The job of a journalist is not simply to deliver information to people. It's about discerning what is and isn't important for people to know. Today cable news channels assume they have to represent every idea no matter how discredited out of some misguided need to be perceived as "Fair and Balanced". Journalism can be fair with out giving credence to all views. They care far too much what we think and not nearly enough what qualified experts think. Its just a bunch of hacks spouting bull$hit and asking us what we think. What do you guys think. Do you ever watch the news and just want to bury your face in your palm?

If it's broken all the way through the lead, either ask someone to use one of theirs or buy another. If only the tip has broken, sharpen it.

N/A. All of these names are too common. It seems like everyone these days are naming their kids these names. I look for something a little less common!
