Dude, they make their living on people who do exactly what you've said. They're completely offensive and wrong, and when someone hits them or slanders them, they sue and win. The best way to deal with them is to have a fund raiser where you get donations. Each donor pledges a certain dollar amount per minute that they protest and the money is given to a gay/military charity. That way they're working against themselves.
