Any Good Manga or Anime?

I'm looking for action and a good storyline. I would also like if the main character was someone who's a bit stupid but does the thing where he changes from this =) to this =[ and then wreaks havoc on whatever made him unhappy. Thanks for helping. All hail the mighty Pooh Bear.
