BOYS ONLY: Do u think that this is weird?

Ok so this kid i like, his name is Connor, On friday we had a semi formal dance and well we were there i told my friend Cassy to ask him to dance with me during one of the slow songs, then he came over to me and said hi so i said heyy then i was like "sorry, my friends always do this when i like soemone" so then he patted my back and walked away! I really like him and because tomorrow is the last day of school, i wont see him all summer! I was planning on asking him for his number tommorow!!!!!! I really need help figuring out what to say to him! its also my birthday so yeahhhh idk if that helps but will you help me figure out what say to Connor cuz i want to chill with him this summer! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
