How much does the meaning of a name mean to you?

Not much at all...what really matters to me is how attractive and intelligent the name sounds, and what kind of person it brings to mind. For example, I don't dislike Addison because it means "son of Adam" but because it sounds unpretty and unfeminine to me, and because modern, trendy names almost always strike me as less intelligent than more historic ones. I love Cordelia not because of its meaning, but because it just sounds beautiful and smart and elegant to me. And Connor doesn't make me think of dogs, despite its meaning.
